Product Integration Engineer (m/w/d) – GBAD Systeme / CI-CD / Linux

Für eine Aufgabe im Bereich Systemintegration und Softwareentwicklung suchen wir Sie als Product Integration Engineer (m/w/d) – GBAD Systeme.
In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie an der Integration, Testautomatisierung und kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung komplexer IT- und Software-Systeme für bodengebundene Luftverteidigungssysteme (Ground Based Air Defence).

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Integration erforderlicher Software Units in geplante IBMS Releases

• Durchführung von Software- und System-Builds für neue IBMS Releases

• Installation der IBMS Releases auf Test- und Referenzanlagen

• Durchführung von Regressionstests und Funktionsprüfungen neuer Releases

• Mitwirkung an der Modernisierung und Pflege der CI/CD-Prozesse und Toolketten

• Unterstützung beim Betrieb und der Wartung der IBMS Produkt-Testanlagen

• Aufbau eines tiefgehenden Verständnisses der IBMS Systemarchitektur und Funktionsweise

• Mitwirkung bei der Testautomatisierung und bei der Erstellung von Integrationstests

• Erfassung und Nachverfolgung von Bug Reports, Durchführung von Fehleranalysen und Verifikation von Korrekturen

• Unterstützung des Bug-Trackings und Anwendung des Airbus-Entwicklungsprozesses unter Einhaltung aller Qualitätsanforderungen

Ihr Profil:

• Ausbildung/Studium: Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Software Engineering oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation (mind. Bachelor)

• Berufserfahrung: Erfahrung in der Integration und im Test von Software- oder IT-Systemen auf Produkt- oder Systemebene, inklusive Fehleranalyse

• IT-/Fachkenntnisse:

  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Linux-Umgebungen und Shell-Scripting (erforderlich)

  • Erfahrung mit CI/CD-Umgebungen und Virtualisierung (erforderlich)

  • Gute Netzwerkkenntnisse (TCP/IP, Wireshark, Konfiguration und Fehlersuche)

  • Erfahrung mit Tools wie Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, SVN, DOORS von Vorteil

  • Kenntnisse in Testautomatisierung, Python und/oder Perl sowie Dateiformaten (XML, JSON, YAML) wünschenswert

• Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch verhandlungssicher

• Weitere Qualifikationen: Teamplayer mit selbstständiger, analytischer Arbeitsweise, ausgeprägter Kommunikationsfähigkeit und proaktiver Herangehensweise

Product Integration Engineer (f/m/d) – GBAD Systems / CI-CD / Linux

For an assignment in the field of system integration and software development, we are looking for you as Product Integration Engineer (f/m/d) – GBAD Systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the integration, testing and continuous enhancement of complex IT and software systems used in Ground Based Air Defence applications.

Your tasks:

• Integrate software units into planned IBMS releases

• Perform software and system builds for new IBMS releases

• Install IBMS releases on test and reference systems

• Execute regression and functionality tests for new releases

• Contribute to modernization and maintenance of CI/CD processes and toolchains

• Support the operation and maintenance of the IBMS product test facilities

• Build deep knowledge of the IBMS system architecture and functionality

• Support test automation for integration testing

• Create and track bug reports, perform troubleshooting and verify fixes

• Support bug tracking and ensure compliance with Airbus development and quality processes

Your profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification

• Professional experience: Experience in integration and testing of software or IT systems at product or system level, including error analysis

• IT skills:

  • Strong Linux and shell scripting skills (required)

  • Experience with CI/CD environments and virtualization (required)

  • Good understanding of networks (TCP/IP, Wireshark, configuration and troubleshooting)

  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA, SVN, DOORS advantageous

  • Knowledge of test automation, Python and/or Perl, and file formats (XML, JSON, YAML) beneficial

• Languages: German and English fluent in written and spoken form

• Additional skills: Independent, analytical and proactive working style, strong communication and teamwork skills
