Airworthiness Assurance Engineer (f/m/d)

For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

Your tasks

• Conduct surveillance of the Design Organisation by applying airworthiness assurance tools (e.g. audits, scorecards, assessment of safety incidents), including investigation and follow-up until closure

• Act as interface and management function between Airworthiness Authorities and Airbus DS to maintain Design Organisation Approval (DOA)

  • Manage and monitor the interface (reviews, meetings, tracking)

  • Prepare the Design Organisation for authority audits, including dry runs

  • Follow up and close findings and queries identified by Airworthiness Authorities

• Assess potential hazards identified via DOA-SMS and carry out investigations, define corrective measures and follow them up until timely implementation

• Perform the monitoring function of the Engineering-SMS

• Provide advisory support within the Design Organisation on DOA-related topics

• Qualify and surveil suppliers holding design responsibilities

• Support DOA Management, Policies & Expertise in obtaining, managing and maintaining Airbus DS Design Organisation Approvals

Your profile

• Master’s/Diploma degree in Aerospace Engineering

• At least 3 years of professional experience in engineering

• Solid knowledge of DOA requirements from military and civil regulations

• Auditor training or audit experience is a plus

• Advanced MS Office skills

• English business fluent; German knowledge is desirable

• Open-minded and cooperative team player, highly motivated to learn new things
