Supply Chain Quality Manager – Quality Assurance & Industrial Changes (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

As Supply Chain Quality Manager for Quality Assurance and Industrial Changes, you will interface with suppliers for operational activities. Your responsibilities cover quality issue management through to closure, industrial qualification for new products and transfers of work, and supply chain quality management during the development phase of strategic programs.

Your tasks

• Take responsibility as QSR Originator for the end-to-end Quality Survey Report (QSR) management process, from Notification of Escape (NOE) to QSR closure. Create, launch and follow up all QSRs.
• Prepare and check all necessary meeting documents, including One Pager, Minutes of Meeting and TOAC creation. Keep SMP (Action Plan Management), SAP, One folder and documents on Google Drive up to date.
• Take responsibility for Safety Related Items (SARIs) originating from quality issues, driving containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions until closure.
• Act as Supply Chain Quality Manager for New Product Introductions (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) activities.
• Ensure industrial qualification and maturity for industrial changes, such as NPI, ToW or modifications, by monitoring compliance with Airbus requirements and steering the transition into the serial phase.
• Ensure robust Airbus Supplier Requirement (ASR) maturity and compliance checks before serial production, and lead industrial reviews for NPI or ToW at suppliers.
• Update all necessary IT and reporting tools and act as APQP Lead or Assessor for industrial changes.
• Perform supply chain quality management during the development phase of strategic programs.

Your profile

• A completed degree at a minimum of bachelor’s level in engineering, a technical discipline, industrial engineering, business administration or supply chain quality.
• More than one year of professional experience in each of the following areas: engineering, supplier management, quality management and supply chain.
• Knowledge of detailed functions in MS Excel, advanced working knowledge of SAP and knowledge of Google Workspace.
• English language skills at a minimum of business-fluent level. German language skills are an advantage.
• Technical understanding is required, together with the ability to quickly understand and analyze technical concepts and functionalities.
• An independent, structured and results-oriented working style to achieve objectives on time and coordinate workflows efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel within Europe, one to two times per year.
