Als Mechanical System Installation Design Engineer (m/w/d) entwickeln Sie mechanische Einbauten für Outboard Equipment. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf Konzeptstudien, 3D-Design, Bauunterlagen und zulassungsrelevanter Dokumentation.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung mechanischer Einbauten für Outboard Equipment
• Durchführung von Konzeptstudien
• Erstellung von 3D-Designs in CATIA
• Erstellung und Modifikation von Bauunterlagen
• Management von Design-Daten in Softwarelösungen wie SAP, Windchill und VPM
• Erstellung von Dokumenten für die Zulassung, z. B. Systembeschreibungen, FMECA, Definitionen von Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen und Testprogramme

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik oder Luft- und Raumfahrt mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau oder ein vergleichbarer Studiengang
• Alternativ zum Studium: abgeschlossene dreijährige Berufsausbildung mit qualifizierter Weiterbildung zum Techniker und darauf bezogener erweiterter Erfahrung
• Erfahrung in der Entwicklung mechanischer Komponenten, vorzugsweise mit CATIA V5 und ENOVIA VPM
• Erfahrung mit Entwicklungsprozessen aus der Luftfahrt und den entsprechenden Softwaretools, z. B. SAP und Windchill
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie Leidenschaft für kontinuierliche Verbesserung

As a Mechanical System Installation Design Engineer, you will develop mechanical installations for outboard equipment. Your work will focus on concept studies, 3D design, construction documentation and documents required for certification.

Your tasks

• Develop mechanical installations for outboard equipment
• Conduct concept studies
• Create 3D designs in CATIA
• Create and modify construction documentation
• Manage design data in software solutions such as SAP, Windchill and VPM
• Prepare documents for certification, e.g. system descriptions, FMECA, definitions of maintenance measures and test programs

Your profile

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or aerospace engineering at a minimum of bachelor’s level, or a comparable degree program
• Alternatively: completed three-year vocational training with a qualified advanced technician qualification and related extended experience
• Experience in developing mechanical components, preferably using CATIA V5 and ENOVIA VPM
• Experience with aviation development processes and corresponding software tools, e.g. SAP and Windchill
• At least negotiation-level German and English
• Independent and solution-oriented approach to work and a passion for continuous improvement
