- Gute Kenntnisse der Funktionen von Luft-Boden-Waffen (einschließlich Simulation) sind wünschenswert.
- Kenntnisse des Eurofighter-Waffensystems sind wünschenswert.
- Kenntnisse der Zertifizierung fliegender Systeme sind von Vorteil.
- Kenntnisse der System-(SW)-Engineering-Standards wie ARP 4754a, Incose und Do178c sind wünschenswert.

TASK
- Review and refine requirements from System/ Subsystem Level
- Write Requirements for AC SW
- Generate implementation concepts of Sensor Functions and Stores
- Develop functional prototypes of sophisticated algorithms in the area of Air to Surface Weapons
- Support System Hazard Assessements
- Prepare and generate a LRI Processing Specification (LPS)
- Optimize design with regard to operational requirements
- Support definition of platform overarching sensor Management
- Travel to customer and partner companies to discuss concepts and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum Master's degree in engineering or a minimum Master's degree in aerospace engineering
- Professional experience in engineering of at least 1 year, in aerospace of at least 1 year
- Knowledge of work processes in a military environment is required.
- Knowledge of systems and software development for aircraft is required.
- Good knowledge of the functions of air-to-ground weapons (including simulation) is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Eurofighter weapon system is desirable.
- Knowledge of the certification of airborne systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of system (SW) engineering standards such as ARP 4754a, Incose, and Do178c is desirable.
- Knowledge of requirements management or requirements-based engineering (RBE) and their analysis is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Eurofighter avionics system is desirable.
- Knowledge of operational use cases for sensor and weapon deployment is an advantage.
