Performance & Operational Manager Engineering Academy (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a Performance & Operational Manager for the Engineering Academy, you will design and implement practical performance standards, create smart, simplified dashboards and establish structured reporting workflows. You will translate competence and learning requirements into working tools, transparent budget tracking and regular data deliverables for internal Academy leadership and external customers, the Business Centers.

Your tasks

• Design and implement practical performance standards and set up and maintain dashboards and performance solutions
• Translate competence and learning requirements into working tools
• Support financial management and budget oversight, ensuring transparent budget tracking
• Establish structured reporting and risk management workflows
• Provide regular data deliverables for internal Academy leadership and external customers, the Business Centers
• Provide advisory support and enable the team in its operational work

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in computer science, a technical discipline, industrial engineering, business administration or economics
• More than three years of professional experience in each of the following areas: interface management, project management and stakeholder management
• Good knowledge of change management and project management
• Experience in data analysis is required; experience in quality management and digital dashboards is advantageous
• Knowledge of Google Workspace
• Business-fluent English; German and French are advantageous
• Ability to lead, guide and empower multifunctional and international teams through change
• Strong analytical mindset, self-motivation, resilience and a hands-on approach to solving problems
• Curious, flexible and innovative team player who enjoys continuous learning and sharing ideas
• Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate clearly
