Process Improvement Manager Digital Transformation (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a Process Improvement Manager, you prepare processes and tools for the transition to SAP S/4HANA. You manage improvement projects, develop digital customer and supplier interfaces, and improve workflows and KPI reporting.

Your tasks

• Support project teams by harmonizing and preparing current processes and tools for the transition to SAP S/4HANA
• Apply lean principles to simplify and streamline existing workflows, ensuring that they are fit for migration and right first time
• Drive continuous improvement in communication and ticketing workflows
• Support the implementation of a digital interface for customers such as airlines and maintenance organizations to provide real-time order transparency
• Design and support digital connectivity with repair stations to automate data exchange and performance monitoring
• Improve KPI reporting in Skywise and ensure transparent visualization of the current status and risks
• Manage improvement projects from initiation through to closure using the AIRBUS standard project methodology
• Use reasoned advocacy and compelling storylines to gain internal and external stakeholder support for the digital transition

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, engineering, business informatics, industrial engineering or business administration, in each case at least at Bachelor’s level
• More than one year of professional experience in supplier management
• More than one year of professional experience in project management
• More than one year of professional experience in process improvement
• Initial working knowledge of SAP
• Good knowledge of lean management
• Experience with Skywise or other data analytics tools is desirable; knowledge of Google Workspace is desirable
• English at negotiation level; German is an advantage
• A proactive approach and willingness to drive the business from an end-to-end perspective
• Good intercultural understanding
• Strategic thinking with the ability to support strategic development and manage the human aspects of change during large-scale industrialization
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence in a multicultural environment and translate strategic objectives into actionable digital solutions
