Industrial Integrator & Project Manager Single Aisle FAL (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You will work as an Industrial Integrator and Project Manager for the Single Aisle Final Assembly Line (FAL). Your responsibilities will cover product integration, milestone planning, stakeholder coordination, and industrialization through to a stable transition into series production.

Your tasks

• Identify and align all industrial requirements for product development projects across the relevant FAL manufacturing areas
• Ensure Industrial Reviews are prepared and conducted within the Industrial Development Plan (IDP) according to the project plan
• Define the assembly concept, manufacturing process, and manufacturing system and monitor adherence to them
• Coordinate collaboration between the Programme, local Value Stream Management (VSM) teams, Industrial Architects, Supply Chain, Procurement, Chief Engineering, Quality Assurance, and series production
• Ensure all relevant departments, including Engineering, Procurement, and local VSM, provide the required data for IDP and Product Development Plan (PDP) reviews on time and to a high quality standard
• Support Industrial Programme Leaders in overarching IDP and PDP reviews
• Conduct regular risk and opportunity assessments for manufacturing areas and integrate them into overall project management
• Ensure industrialization meets the defined cost targets and achieves a stable transition into series production
• Maintain key project documentation, such as the Industrial Baseline Document, and support the implementation of complex industrial changes
• Conduct Lessons Learned reviews after key milestones to sustainably improve future processes

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in vehicle engineering, engineering, aerospace engineering, or another technical discipline
• More than two years of professional experience in product development, more than three years in project management, and more than two years in industrialization process management
• Basic knowledge of change management and risk management
• Knowledge of Google Workspace; knowledge of data analytics tools, such as Skywise, is advantageous
• Negotiation-level English; German and/or French language skills are advantageous
• Strong assertiveness and communication skills when working with diverse stakeholders, from Engineering through to Production
• Analytical thinking, a structured working approach, and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide approximately four to five times per year
