Systems Designer Flight Control Systems (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you support the definition and design of flight control system architectures. You work on redundancy concepts, system requirements, interface definitions and validation activities in a safety-critical aircraft systems environment.

Your tasks

• Define and design flight control system architectures and related system functions
• Develop redundancy management concepts, including failure identification and isolation
• Define, validate and manage L2/L3 system requirements
• Ensure requirement traceability, coverage and consistency across system levels
• Support interface definitions for connected systems and equipment
• Contribute to L2/L3 system test activities and validation work

Your profile

• Completed master’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering, aerospace, computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field
• More than 2 years of experience as design engineer or in development and IT/information systems
• Required experience in systems engineering and requirements definition
• Experience with flight control or flight management systems
• Detailed specialist knowledge of Python and DOORS
• Business-fluent English skills; knowledge of C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo or SCADE is an advantage
