In dieser Position entwickeln, verbessern und validieren Sie Stressmethoden und zugehörige Softwareanwendungen für die Strukturanalyse von Flugzeugstrukturen über den gesamten Lebenszyklus. Sie unterstützen die Stress-Teams für AirPower-Plattformen, wirken an Technologieprojekten mit und veröffentlichen Ergebnisse auf internationalen Konferenzen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung, Verbesserung und Validierung von Stressmethoden
• Mitarbeit in allen Phasen des Softwareentwicklungslebenszyklus für bestehende und neue Tools, einschließlich Entwicklung, Anpassung und Pflege des Softwarecodes sowie Verifikation und Validierung
• Kontinuierliche Unterstützung der Stress-Teams bei Stressmethoden und Software
• Durchführung von Projektarbeiten zur Strukturanalyse, z. B. Stressanalysen, Gesamtflugzeugdimensionierung und multidisziplinäre Optimierung (MDO)
• Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Teams der Strukturanalyse
• Mitarbeit an Technologieprojekten und Veröffentlichung der Ergebnisse auf internationalen Konferenzen

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Master- oder Diplomstudium der Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder des Maschinenbaus oder eine gleichwertige Qualifikation
• Erfahrung in der Strukturanalyse mit nichtnumerischen beziehungsweise Handbuchmethoden ist erforderlich
• Erfahrung in der FEM-Analyse ist zwingend erforderlich
• Programmierkenntnisse in Python und C++ sind erforderlich; Kenntnisse in FORTRAN sind wünschenswert
• Vertrautheit mit agiler Softwareentwicklung wird vorausgesetzt; ein gutes Verständnis für die Anwendung von KI-Methoden in der Softwareentwicklung ist von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse der Produkte von Airbus Defence and Space sind von Vorteil
• Fortgeschrittene Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich; die fließende Erstellung schriftlicher technischer Dokumentationen in englischer Sprache ist zwingend erforderlich
• Proaktive und positive Teamhaltung in einem transnationalen Umfeld

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this position, you develop, improve and validate stress methods and related software applications for the structural analysis of aircraft structures throughout the entire aircraft life cycle. You support the Stress teams for AirPower platforms, contribute to technology projects and publish results at international conferences.

Your tasks

• Develop, improve and validate stress methods
• Contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle for existing and new tools, including development, adaptation and maintenance of software code as well as verification and validation
• Continuously support the Stress teams with stress methods and software
• Perform project work related to structural analysis, e.g. stress analysis, overall aircraft sizing and Multi-Disciplinary Optimisation (MDO)
• Collaborate with international structural analysis teams
• Contribute to technology projects and publish the results at international conferences

Your profile

• Completed Master’s or diploma degree in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience in structural analysis using non-numerical or handbook methods is required
• Experience in FEM analysis is mandatory
• Programming skills in Python and C++ are required; knowledge of FORTRAN is desirable
• Familiarity with agile software development is required; a good understanding of the application of AI methods in software development is an advantage
• Knowledge of Airbus Defence and Space products is beneficial
• Advanced German and English skills are required; fluency in preparing written technical documentation in English is a must-have
• Proactive and positive teamwork attitude in a transnational environment
