In dieser Position arbeiten Sie im Betrieb und in der Weiterentwicklung moderner IT-Infrastrukturen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf stabilen IT-Systemen, Automatisierung, Betriebssicherheit sowie der kontinuierlichen Optimierung von IT-Services in einem komplexen technischen Umfeld.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Betrieb moderner IT-Systeme inklusive Troubleshooting und nachhaltiger Störungsbeseitigung

• Analyse und Behebung von Systemfehlern im laufenden Betrieb (L1 & L2 Support)

• Weiterentwicklung, Implementierung und Monitoring der IT-Infrastruktur

• Design und Konzeption von IT-Systemen sowie der für den Betrieb benötigten Tools (Planung, Umsetzung, Validierung)

• Installation, Konfiguration und selbstständige Inbetriebnahme von Infrastruktursystemen

• Erstellung und Pflege von Prozess- und Systemdokumentationen sowie Übergabe in den Betrieb

• Kontinuierliche Optimierung, Weiterentwicklung und Automatisierung der IT-Systemlandschaft

• Überwachung und Automatisierung des Asset- und Infrastruktur-Managements (Hardware, Software, Lizenzen, Wartungsverträge)

• Kommunikation mit Kunden und Unterauftragnehmern zu betrieblichen Service-Themen

• Incident Management, Reporting und Service-Koordination

• Umsetzung von IT-Sicherheitsmaßnahmen gemäß bestehendem Sicherheitskonzept

• Erstellung und Umsetzung von Notfall- und Disaster-Recovery-Plänen

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik (mind. Bachelor) oder Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich IT / Informationssysteme

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse im IT-System-Engineering, z. B. in den Bereichen:

  • Virtualisierung

  • Windows- und Linux-Infrastrukturen

  • Netzwerktechnik

  • Storage-Systeme

• Erfahrung in der konzeptionellen Weiterentwicklung sowie im Betrieb komplexer IT-Systeme

• Gute Kenntnisse in Backup-, Restore- und Recovery-Konzepten, idealerweise mit Veeam und Tape-Libraries

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Automatisierung, z. B. mit PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform oder vergleichbaren Tools

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit ITIL-basierten Prozessen

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in folgenden Technologien von Vorteil:

  • VMware, Hyper-V

  • Windows / Linux

  • Netzwerkkomponenten (z. B. Cisco, Fortigate, MikroTik)

• Selbstständige, strukturierte und gewissenhafte Arbeitsweise

• Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch versiert

In this role, you will be responsible for operating, developing and optimizing modern IT infrastructures with a strong focus on system stability, automation and operational excellence.

Your tasks

• Operation of modern IT systems including troubleshooting and incident resolution

• Analysis and resolution of system issues in daily operations (L1 & L2 support)

• Further development, implementation and monitoring of IT infrastructure

• Design and conceptualization of IT systems and operational tools

• Installation, configuration and independent commissioning of infrastructure systems

• Creation and maintenance of system and process documentation

• Continuous optimization and automation of the IT environment

• Monitoring and automation of asset and infrastructure management

• Communication with customers and subcontractors regarding operational service topics

• Incident management and reporting

• Implementation of IT security measures in accordance with existing security concepts

• Creation and execution of emergency and disaster recovery plans

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or completed vocational training as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience

• Several years of experience in IT systems and infrastructure operations

• Strong expertise in IT system engineering, e.g. virtualization, Windows/Linux, networking or storage

• Experience in designing, developing and operating complex IT systems

• Good knowledge of backup and recovery concepts, ideally with Veeam and tape libraries

• Strong automation skills (e.g. PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform or similar)

• Experience working with ITIL-based processes

• Very good knowledge of technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Windows/Linux and network components

• Independent, structured and reliable working style

• Fluent German and proficient English
