TASKS

The department "Flight Management Systems" is in charge of system design and development ofmilitary and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and Flight Guidance functions. This also coversmission (re-)planning aspects in projects like FCAS.You work as a System Engineer - Flight Management Systems Software (f/m/d) and themain tasks are:

• Research activities in various topics
• Investigation and development of algorithms to incorporate different technical and operational aspects into different optimization approaches
• Integration of these functions in a demonstrator for wider functional context
• Specifying and managing Verification & Validation activities, including laboratory test
• Prepare Demonstrations to other stakeholders/the customer
• Document the results, identify gaps and formulate a way forward
