Als IT Product Manager (m/w/d) entwickeln und betreuen Sie spezifische IT-Systeme und Datenbanken für ein technisches Engineering-Umfeld. Sie begleiten die Lösungen von der Anforderungsaufnahme über Konzeption und Realisierung bis zu Implementierung, Anwenderunterstützung und Wartung.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Aufnahme und Abstimmung von IT-Anforderungen und -Lösungen mit verschiedenen Teams und Stakeholdern
• Erstellung von Konzepten für neue, engineeringspezifische IT-Systeme und Datenbanken
• Abgleich der Konzepte mit vorhandenen Lösungen der IT-Abteilung sowie gegebenenfalls Anpassung dieser Lösungen an spezifische militärische Randbedingungen
• Maßgebliche Realisierung der Konzepte einschließlich Test, Implementierung, Anwenderunterstützung und Dokumentation
• Wartung der eingeführten SQL-Server einschließlich ihrer Frontends
• Übernahme und Leitung von Projektmanagementaufgaben in kleineren Entwicklungs- und Forschungsprojekten
• Lieferung der Projektinhalte unter Einhaltung der Ziele hinsichtlich Zeit, Umfang, Kosten und Qualität sowie zur Zufriedenheit des Kunden

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder Wirtschaftsinformatik mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau oder ein vergleichbarer Studiengang
• Mehr als vier Jahre Berufserfahrung, davon mehr als zwei Jahre im Interface Management für IT beziehungsweise Informationssysteme
• Mehr als drei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Projektmanagement
• Gute Kenntnisse in der Applikationsentwicklung, unter anderem mit Node.js, Python, FastAPI und Svelte
• Gute Kenntnisse in SQL-Datenbankanwendungen wie PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL oder Cloud SQL beziehungsweise vergleichbaren Lösungen
• Kenntnisse der Detailfunktionen von MS Office sowie gute Kenntnisse in Office-Anwendungen und deren Programmierung mit MS Office und Google Suite
• Verständnis für Zero-Trust-Architekturen und Verschlüsselungsstandards ist von Vorteil
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Systematische und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise, Organisationstalent sowie hohe Flexibilität, Einsatz- und Leistungsbereitschaft
• Eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

As an IT Product Manager, you will develop and support specific IT systems and databases for a technical engineering environment. You will oversee solutions from requirements gathering and conceptual design through realization and implementation to user support and maintenance.

Your tasks

• Gather and coordinate IT requirements and solutions with different teams and stakeholders
• Develop concepts for new engineering-specific IT systems and databases
• Compare the concepts with existing solutions from the IT department and, where necessary, adapt these solutions to specific military constraints
• Play a key role in realizing the concepts, including testing, implementation, user support and documentation
• Maintain the implemented SQL servers and their frontends
• Assume and lead project management tasks in smaller development and research projects
• Deliver project content in compliance with time, scope, cost and quality targets and to the customer’s satisfaction

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science or business informatics at a minimum of bachelor’s level, or a comparable degree program
• More than four years of professional experience, including more than two years in interface management for IT or information systems
• More than three years of professional experience in project management
• Good knowledge of application development, including Node.js, Python, FastAPI and Svelte
• Good knowledge of SQL database applications such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL or Cloud SQL, or comparable solutions
• Knowledge of detailed MS Office functions and good knowledge of office applications and programming with MS Office and Google Suite
• Understanding of zero-trust architectures and encryption standards is an advantage
• At least negotiation-level German and English
• Systematic and goal-oriented approach to work, organizational skills, high flexibility, commitment and willingness to perform
• Independent and solution-oriented approach to work
