Standardization and Standard Parts Qualification Engineer (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

We are looking for a Standardization and Standard Parts Qualification Engineer to support the qualification and standardization of electrical parts throughout the aircraft lifecycle. The role involves close collaboration with international and cross-functional teams across European AIRBUS sites.

Your tasks

• Support the qualification of electrical standard parts and components
• Prepare and maintain qualification documentation, including Qualification Test Plans, Qualification Test Reports and Qualified Product Lists
• Assist with supplier selection and supplier qualification activities
• Support internal and external audits relating to standard parts and suppliers
• Provide standardization support to Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Customer Services teams
• Evaluate new standardization requests and propose suitable technical solutions
• Support the resolution of in-service issues involving electrical standard parts
• Contribute to obsolescence management and the identification of replacement solutions
• Ensure compliance with AIRBUS standards, specifications and quality requirements
• Collaborate with international teams across AIRBUS sites in Europe throughout the aircraft lifecycle

Your profile

• Completed Master’s degree or Diplom in engineering or aerospace engineering; alternatively, a technician qualification may be sufficient
• More than four years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience in qualification and documentation processes, including test plans, test reports and qualified product lists, is mandatory
• Experience with electrical standard parts or electrical engineering activities is required
• Experience in problem-solving, particularly concerning in-service issues and obsolescence topics, is required
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with technical documentation and related tools, such as PDM, NormMaster or OMAMs, is desirable
• English at least at negotiation level
• German and Spanish language skills are an advantage
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in an international environment
• Open-minded, dynamic and proactive working attitude
• Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills across cross-functional teams
