Digitalization & Design Integration Engineer Cabin & Cargo VR Services (m/f/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you support digitalization, design integration and Extended Reality activities for Cabin & Cargo VR Services. The focus is on 3D data preparation, VR/AR visualization, XR studies, high-end visual content and process improvement for aircraft customization.

Your tasks

• Coordinate and execute Cabin & Cargo Extended Reality activities for Next Generation Aircraft
• Prepare 3D data from CAD tools, including UV mapping, material creation, exposure and rendering
• Develop immersive VR/AR scenes using tools such as Unity, Unreal or 3DExperience
• Manage XR studies for installability and maintainability tests with internal and external stakeholders
• Create photorealistic renderings and high-end visual content for strategic use cases
• Support digitalization, automation and process standardization using data analytics and machine learning

Your profile

• Degree in design, graphic design, engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in configuration management, aircraft manufacturing or interface management
• Detailed knowledge of CATIA V5 and VPM A350 as well as advanced SAP user knowledge
• Good knowledge of 3D measurement methods and basic knowledge of project management or continuous improvement
• Experience with Unity, 3DS Max, Blender, 3DExperience or gaming industry workflows is an advantage
• Business-fluent English skills; German skills are an advantage
