Für unseren Kunden AIRBUS suchen wir Sie als Software Integration & Verification Engineer (d/m/w).

In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie an der Schnittstelle zwischen Softwareentwicklung, Systemengineering und Test. Sie verantworten die Integration, Verifikation und Qualifikation eingebetteter Software für zivile und militärische Anwendungen und leisten einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Einhaltung von Lufttüchtigkeits- und Zertifizierungsanforderungen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Analyse, Verfeinerung und Pflege von Software-Anforderungen mit Fokus auf Klarheit, Konsistenz, Rückverfolgbarkeit und Konformität zu Systemanforderungen sowie zivilen und militärischen Zertifizierungsstandards

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit System-, Avionik- und Safety-Engineering zur Überführung multidisziplinärer Inputs in klare, testbare und umsetzbare Software-Anforderungen

• Mitwirkung bei der Definition sowie kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Verifikations- und Teststrategie in Abstimmung mit Software-Architektur und Systemanforderungen

• Entwicklung, Anpassung und Erweiterung von Testszenarien, Testprozeduren (manuell oder automatisiert) und Simulationsmodellen für Integrations- und Qualifikationstests

• Durchführung von Integrationstests, Auswertung der Ergebnisse, Root-Cause-Analysen und Erstellung detaillierter Problemberichte

• Durchführung formaler Qualifikationstests an Software-Testständen gemäß DO-178C und den zugehörigen Zertifizierungsprozessen

• Erstellung, Pflege und Bereitstellung hochwertiger Verifikations- und Testdokumentation

• Unterstützung und Koordination von Testaktivitäten im Team inklusive Priorisierung, Synchronisation und Abstimmung mit anderen Ingenieursdisziplinen

• Förderung der multidisziplinären Zusammenarbeit als Schnittstelle zwischen Softwareentwicklung, Systemengineering, Testteams und Zertifizierungsstellen

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Informatik, des Ingenieurwesens oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs (mindestens Bachelor)

• Alternativ eine qualifizierte technische Ausbildung (z. B. Techniker/Meister) mit gleichwertiger relevanter Berufserfahrung

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Engineering- sowie IT-/Informationssystem-Umfeld

• Praktische Erfahrung in der Spezifikation und/oder Verifikation eingebetteter Echtzeitsoftware

• Vertrautheit mit Lufttüchtigkeitsprozessen und Zertifizierungsstandards, insbesondere DO-178C

• Ausgeprägte analytische und problemlösende Fähigkeiten

• Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative

• Führungskompetenz und Fähigkeit zur Koordination in multidisziplinären Teams

• Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen

• Deutsch fortgeschritten, Englisch verhandlungssicher, Französisch von Vorteil

For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a Software Integration & Verification Engineer (m/f/d).

In this role, you will work at the interface of software development, system engineering and testing. You will be responsible for the integration, verification and qualification of embedded software for civil and military applications, ensuring compliance with airworthiness and certification requirements.

Your tasks

• Analyze, refine and maintain software requirements, ensuring clarity, consistency, traceability and compliance with system requirements and civil/military certification standards

• Collaborate closely with system, avionics and safety engineering teams to translate multidisciplinary inputs into clear, testable and implementable software requirements

• Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of verification and test strategies in alignment with software architecture and system requirements

• Develop, adapt and extend test scenarios, test procedures (manual or automated) and simulation models for integration and qualification testing

• Perform integration tests, analyze results, conduct root-cause analyses and prepare detailed problem reports

• Execute formal software qualification tests on test benches in accordance with DO-178C and related certification processes

• Create, maintain and deliver high-quality verification and test documentation

• Support and coordinate team test activities, including prioritization and synchronization with other engineering disciplines

• Foster multidisciplinary collaboration as an interface between software development, system engineering, test teams and certification authorities

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable field

• Alternatively, a qualified technical vocational background (e.g. technician/master craftsman) with equivalent relevant professional experience

• Several years of professional experience in engineering and IT/information systems

• Practical experience in specification and/or verification of embedded real-time software

• Familiarity with airworthiness processes and certification standards, especially DO-178C

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset

• Leadership capability and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams

• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel

• Advanced German, fluent business English, French is an advantage
