C++ Software Developer Simulation & Test Frameworks (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You will develop simulation and test support software for aircraft programs during development, integration and testing. Your work will focus on C++ development, middleware and real-time framework architecture, and virtual engineering combining simulations with real hardware.

Your tasks

• Design and develop simulation and test support software in C++
• Evolve the framework architecture for middleware and real-time applications
• Apply state-of-the-art technologies and techniques
• Actively contribute to virtual engineering in a mixed environment of simulations and real hardware

Your profile

• Master’s degree or Diplom in computer science or a related field
• A minimum of three to four years of professional experience, especially in C++ programming, is mandatory
• Strong proficiency in C++17 or later; experience with modern C++ standards is mandatory
• Sound knowledge of software design, patterns and architecture, system programming and cross-platform development
• Familiarity with networking protocols, field buses such as CAN, ARINC or AFDX, or distributed systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of networking, field buses and distributed systems is an advantage
• Business-fluent English; German language skills are an advantage
• Communicative and open-minded personality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, interdisciplinary environment
• Willingness to work on site
