IHRE AUFGABE - RESPONSIBILITIES
EN
- Provide human factors engineering expertise and support to the design and development of Starlab human system interfaces in an integrated and collaborative fashion,supporting
design, development, and preparation of deliverables
- Contribute to Starlab Mission ConOps and OpsCon definition and refinement
- Analyze, assess, and make recommendations regarding Starlab human system design and development, in the following fields:Habitability functions (sleep, hygiene, stowage/trash management, etc.) inner architecture (habitable/work volume, configuration, translation path, hatches and doorways, restraints and mobility aids, windows, lighting, etc.)
- Crew interfaces (display and controls)
- Natural and induced environments (atmosphere, acoustics, radiation,vibration, etc.)
- Anthropometry, strength and endurance including requirements analysis, task design/redesign, use case development, functional flow, and workload modeling.- Close collaboration with other Starlab teams: Crew Health and Medical System (H&MS),S&MA, SE&I, Robotics, Flight Crew, Ground Support, and Mission Operations teams
- Perform tailoring and tracking of Human Systems Integration Requirement
- Support definition and development of low-, medium-, and high-fidelity mock-ups concepts and requirements
- Support Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) test activities
- Support and participate in the HSI Working Group
- Provide Human Systems Integration (HSI) support to other organisations, e.g. NASA
- Contribute to associated RFIs/RFPs
- Participate in program reviews
- Perform other duties as agreed and required
Ability to perform, manage and support overall vehicle configuration studies by:
- Analyzing Flight Dynamics (aerodynamic propulsion performance, loads, weight) for converging on vehicle performance
- Managing interactions with other engineering and non engineering configuration disciplines
- Identifying optimized solutions for the vehicle in configuration development through multidisciplinary trade-off studies, assesses the impacts of design studies

IHR PROFIL - QUALIFICATIONS
DE
- Studium der Luft- und Raumfahrt oder der Mechatronik oder des Maschinenbaus oder der Informatik oder vergleichbar
- Erfahrung im Bereich Raumfahrzeugbetrieb/-technik, vorzugsweise mit Schwerpunkt auf bemannter Raumfahrt, Human Systems Integration oder Human Factors Engineering
- Kenntnisse über Raumfahrzeugsystem- und Subsystemarchitekturen sowie Missionsunterstützungskonzepte
- Erfahrung mit Human-in-the-Loop-Tests
- Fähigkeit, programmatische Aspekte wie technische Zeitpläne und Risiken zu definieren und zu unterstützen. Fähigkeit, technische Dokumentation zu erstellen und zu überprüfen, z. B. SPECs, IRD/ICD
- Erfahrung mit Systems Engineering-Prozessen und -Techniken, z.B. mit Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) und Tools (z. B. CAMEO), Requirements Engineering und Tools (DOORS, JAMA)
Grundkenntnisse im computergestützten Design
- Fähigkeit zur Unterstützung von Integrations- und Testaktivitäten an Hardware und Software
- Effektiv in einem multidisziplinären und transnationalen Team arbeiten
- Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch verhandlungssicher

- Experience in spacecraft operations/engineering, preferably with a focus on manned spaceflight, human systems integration or human factors engineering

- Experience with human-in-the-loop testing
