External Communications Manager (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

Als External Communications Manager übernehmen Sie die externe Kommunikation für Airbus Helicopters. Sie betreuen Medienkontakte, entwickeln Kommunikationsinhalte und -konzepte und koordinieren die Kommunikation bei Veranstaltungen und Medienbesuchen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Tätigkeit als Pressesprecher für Airbus Helicopters sowie Pflege der Beziehungen zu wichtigen Medien und Branchenakteuren
• Verfassen von Pressemitteilungen, Webartikeln und Social-Media-Inhalten für branchenbezogene und regionale Aktivitäten
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Medienkonzepten sowie Identifizierung geeigneter Kanäle zur Ansprache wichtiger Interessengruppen
• Koordination der externen Kommunikation auf relevanten Luftfahrt- und Fachmessen sowie Organisation von Medienbesuchen
• Zusammenarbeit mit Fachleuten aus Programme, Produktion, Technik und Vertrieb zur Beschaffung zuverlässiger Informationen für Briefings und Frage-Antwort-Runden

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Kommunikationswissenschaften, mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau, oder Studium im Bereich Journalismus beziehungsweise vergleichbar
• Jeweils mehr als drei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Marketing, Projektmanagement sowie in Public Relations beziehungsweise Kommunikationsmanagement
• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in Kommunikation und Medienarbeit, idealerweise in der Luftfahrt- und Verteidigungsindustrie
• Ausgeprägte schriftliche Ausdrucks- und Storytelling-Fähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, komplexe Informationen in klare Botschaften zu überführen
• Fachkompetenz für die Konzeption, Vorbereitung und Durchführung von VIP-Programmen unter Berücksichtigung höchster Qualitäts- und Verhaltensstandards sowie der Compliance-Anforderungen zur Unterstützung und Wahrung der Unternehmensreputation
• Fachkenntnisse in Social-Media-Strategie und Engagement
• Hervorragende Fähigkeiten zur Zusammenarbeit und eine teamorientierte Einstellung
• Fähigkeit, mehrere Themen gleichzeitig zu bearbeiten, sowie Bereitschaft zu Geschäftsreisen bei Bedarf
• Außergewöhnliche Kundenorientierung und hohe Qualitätsansprüche
• Professionelle Diskretion und Vertraulichkeit
• Teamfähigkeit, Belastbarkeit und Organisationstalent
• Kenntnisse der Detailfunktionen von MS Office und SAP sowie Erfahrung mit gängigen Programmen, z. B. Google und SAP

As External Communications Manager, you will be responsible for external communications for Airbus Helicopters. You will manage media relations, develop communication content and concepts, and coordinate communications for events and media visits.

Your tasks

• Act as spokesperson for Airbus Helicopters and maintain relationships with key media representatives and industry stakeholders
• Write press releases, web articles and social media content relevant to industry-related and regional activities
• Develop and implement media concepts and identify suitable channels for reaching key stakeholders
• Coordinate external communications at relevant aviation and trade fairs and organize media visits
• Collaborate with specialists from programmes, production, engineering and sales to gather reliable information for briefings and question-and-answer sessions

Your profile

• Completed degree in communication sciences, at least at Bachelor level, or degree in journalism or a comparable field
• More than three years of professional experience in each of the areas of marketing, project management and public relations or communications management
• Proven experience in communications and media relations, ideally within the aerospace and defence industry
• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills as well as the ability to summarize complex information into clear messages
• Professional expertise in the conception, preparation and implementation of VIP programmes, taking into account the highest quality and conduct standards as well as compliance requirements to support and protect the company’s reputation
• Expertise in social media strategy and engagement
• Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to manage several topics simultaneously and willingness to travel for business when required
• Exceptional customer orientation and high quality standards
• Professional discretion and confidentiality
• Teamwork, resilience and organizational talent
• Knowledge of detailed MS Office and SAP functions as well as experience with common software applications, e.g. Google and SAP
• German and English at least at business-fluent level
