Gesucht wird ein Systems and Regulatory Compliance Engineer zur Sicherstellung der Qualität technischer Systeme und ihrer regulatorischen Konformität. Die Position begleitet die Entwicklung von den ersten Designphasen bis zur Fertigung.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Prüfung von Schaltplänen, Layouts, Traces, technischen Zeichnungen, Anforderungen, Systembeschreibungen und Prozessdokumentationen auf Korrektheit und Vollständigkeit
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung interner Qualitätsstandards sowie definierter Entwicklungs- und Dokumentationsprozesse
• Überwachung der vorgegebenen Workflows und Einleitung korrigierender Maßnahmen bei Abweichungen
• Unterstützung bei der Vervollständigung von Cameo-Modellen auf Basis von MBSE und SysML
• Übertragung technischer Informationen in vorgegebene Vorlagen und Pflege der Produktdokumentation in Confluence
• Erstellung verständlicher Handbücher und Dokumentationen in deutscher und englischer Sprache
• Ablage von Entwicklungsdaten und Durchführung der Konfigurationskontrolle
• Zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen den Projektteams und der regulatorischen Fachabteilung
• Sammlung relevanter Informationen aus Entwicklungsprojekten und Durchführung regulatorischer Risikoanalysen
• Unterstützung des Zertifizierungsprozesses und der Erlangung der CE-Kennzeichnung
• Führung der Produktsicherheitsakte und Begleitung des Produktlebenszyklus von der Designphase über die Prototypenentwicklung bis zur Fertigung
• Einsatz moderner KI-Werkzeuge zur Erstellung, Übersetzung und Optimierung technischer Texte und Inhalte

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Master- oder Diplomstudium in Elektrotechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Maschinenbau oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen
• Alternativ eine Qualifikation in Technischer Redaktion oder eine vergleichbare technische Qualifikation mit passender Weiterbildung und entsprechender Erfahrung
• Fundiertes Verständnis elektrotechnischer Schaltungen sowie Erfahrung mit Schaltplan-Reviews, technischen Zeichnungen und komplexen Systembeschreibungen
• Erfahrung in der Prüfung elektrischer Schaltpläne, Product Regulatory Compliance und Handbucherstellung ist erforderlich
• Verständnis regulatorischer Anforderungen, beispielsweise CE-Richtlinien und ISO-Normen, sowie Erfahrung mit Risikoanalysen ist zwingend erforderlich
• Erfahrung in Qualitätssicherung, Qualitätsmanagement oder Regulatory Compliance, vorzugsweise in der Luftfahrt- oder Automobilindustrie, ist von Vorteil
• Detaillierte Spezialkenntnisse in MS Office
• Erfahrung mit Confluence
• Vertrauter Umgang mit Cameo Systems Modeler und SysML oder Bereitschaft zur entsprechenden Einarbeitung
• Sicherer Umgang mit modernen KI-Werkzeugen zur Text- und Dokumentationsoptimierung
• Deutsch und Englisch jeweils mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Ausgeprägte Detailorientierung sowie strukturierte und gewissenhafte Arbeitsweise

We are looking for a Systems and Regulatory Compliance Engineer to ensure the quality and regulatory compliance of technical systems. The position supports development activities from the initial design phases through to manufacturing.

Your tasks

• Review schematics, layouts, traces, technical drawings, requirements, system descriptions and process documentation for correctness and completeness
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and defined development and documentation processes
• Monitor defined workflows and initiate corrective action in the event of deviations
• Support the completion of Cameo models based on MBSE and SysML
• Transfer technical information into predefined templates and maintain product documentation in Confluence
• Prepare clear manuals and documentation in German and English
• File development data and perform configuration control
• Act as the central interface between project teams and the regulatory department
• Collect relevant information from development projects and conduct regulatory risk analyses
• Support certification processes and the achievement of CE marking
• Maintain the product-safety file and support the entire product lifecycle from design and prototyping through to manufacturing
• Use modern AI tools to create, translate and optimize technical texts and content

Your profile

• Completed Master’s degree or Diplom in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
• Alternatively, a qualification in technical writing or a comparable technical qualification with relevant further training and corresponding experience
• Profound understanding of electrical circuits and experience in schematic reviews, technical drawings and complex system descriptions
• Experience in reviewing electrical schematics, product regulatory compliance and manual preparation is required
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, such as CE directives and ISO standards, as well as experience in conducting risk analyses is mandatory
• Experience in quality assurance, quality management or regulatory compliance, preferably within the aerospace or automotive industry, is desirable
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with Confluence
• Familiarity with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML or willingness to become proficient in these tools
• Confident use of modern AI tools for text and documentation optimization
• German and English both at least at negotiation level
• Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, conscientious working style
• Analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex relationships quickly
• Strong sense of responsibility regarding compliance with standards
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach when working with Development, Production and Project Management
