We are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/d) for Future Launchers Architectures for a project assignment with our well-known and international customer in the field of AEROSPACE in Bremen.

Wir suchen einen Entwicklungsingenieur (m/w/d) für Architekturen künftiger Trägerraketen für einen Projektauftrag bei unserem bekannten und internationalen Kunden im Bereich AEROSPACE in Bremen.

RESPONSIBILITIES - IHRE AUFGABE

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the department "Future Launchers Architecture". The department supports future projects in the area of systems engineering, new material and technology maturation, design and test.

The activities of the position "Development Engineer Future Launchers Architecture (d/f/m)" within the Team "Advanced Materials and Processes" are especially dealing with topology optimization and mechanical analyses which will be also performed together transnationally with external industrial partners and institutes. The main tasks include:

- As part of a team developing new engineering approaches as well as mature new materials and manufacturing processes (such as additive manufacturing) to be implemented / applied within the company

- Performance of topology optimization of complex loaded parts and structures

- Performance of mechanical engineering analyses

- Definition and performance of maturation programs for: new materials (such as high performance metals, polymers or composites), advanced manufacturing and design processes (such as additive manufacturing or optimization tools and approaches)

- Technical review and approval of the product documentation

- Performance of material characterization and failure mode definition

- Research on emerging technologies and their potential launcher application

- Mechanical engineering to ensure mechanical performance and its suitability for future upper stage programs

- Drive technology development including business case evaluation

- Performing workshops with internal and external partners and presenting and preparing meetings towards external and internal customers

QUALIFICATIONS - IHR PROFIL

- Degree in aerospace or engineering or similar

- Experience in structural analysis and topology optimization of structures

- Knowledge in CATIA V5, in CAE Software like HyperWorks

- Language skills: English fluent B2, German fluent B2

- Studium im Bereich Luft- und Raumfahrt oder des Ingenieurwesens oder Vergleichbares

- Erfahrung in der Strukturanalyse und in der Topologieoptimierung von Strukturen

- Kenntnisse in CATIA V5, in CAE Programmen wie HyperWorks

- Sprachkenntnisse: Englisch verhandlungssicher B2, Deutsch verhandlungssicher B2
